Horror movie sequel challenge

w00t! Its October again!

October is the time of horror movies, and as many of you will remember from previous issues of scantabulous, the top ten Halloween movies of all time were established back in 2007, and I don't think anything has come out in the meantime to that could knock movies off that well-researched list, except maybe one...

With the recent release of Children of the Corn remake on the syphillis channel (filmed in the illustrious Lost Nation, IA, home town of your beloved blogmaster) we should talk about some horror movie genres that have multiple sequels.

So with that, I present the "What crappy bad guy is this?" horror movie challenge!

Rules of the challenge:

1) All screenshots of bad guys are from movies with multiple sequels.
2) You get points for naming the movie series, and extra bonus super points for naming the bad guy specifically (if they have a name).

---

1) So, lets begin fairly easy:

Yeah, you know the movie series, even if you never actually watched any of them. Where is this little guy from?

---

2) Let's get a little more difficult...

You may be confused at this one, but I guarantee you've seen this movie. This movie started an iconic meme that is now applied to all of my favorite horror monsters' feeding habits.

---

3) Okay, next we have kind of a trick one:

What the hell? Yep, that's Billy Zane. This was actually a pretty good movie. A major plot point was a dude running around with a vial of Jesus's blood that could create force fields. I ain't kidding.

---

4) This one's a difficult one, but I'm guessing Cullen or Brando will get it:

These little creepos like to put your baby sister in a glass coffin in the middle of the woods... or something, I don't fully remember what the deal was with these guys.

---

5) Here's one of my favs:

I watched all 5 of these crappy movies. Clue: That gemstone he has is the focus of his ridiculous angst and stupid powers that he would use to kill people in ironic ways.

---

6) Here's a semi-difficult one, where's this guy from:

Yeah, he's not the most famousest of bad guys, but he's certainly creepifyin'. What's he from my fellow horror movie buffs?

---

7) Finally, how could I not include this guy:

Where's this little wicket from? Bonus points: Name all of this little charmer's terrible movies by title.

The guy from #1 is from the puppet master series which I'm proud to say I've seen all of but like 10 years ago. Don't know his name.

#2- Don't know.

#3- figured out on google but that's cheating so I won't claim it.

#4- I've seen these dudes before but can't place where.

#5- Never seen him.

#6- CREEPY! I'm not 100% but I'm going to say he's from the Hellraiser series.

#7- That's Leprechaun from Leprechaun. ( Played by Willow ).

About Puppet Master- I was saying I had seen all of them, but it was ten years ago. If I had seen all but 10 of them then I'd only have seen like 15 movies. Oh never mind.

Muncher, I understood what you meant with Puppetmaster and 10 years ago, no worries. You know, I just realized I've never actually seen the movie Puppetmaster vs. Demonic Toys. I'll have to reconcile that this month.

Clue for #2 -- that guy is covered in Toxic Waste that fell off a military truck.

You're right on for #6. That guy is one of the Cenobytes. I won't reveal his name quite yet though.

#2, I'm guessing The Fly because of your description. On #3, I don't know nothing about no Billy Zane, unless it's Sniper, or Memphis Belle.

#4. That's Troll 2. Those guys run with spears and look awesome. Not a very nice bedtime story.

#5. That's the Chubacabbraman. No doubt.

#6. I want to say that's from Doom, but I don't remember that being a sequel or remake. So I'll say it's Trianglehead from Silent Hill.

I would think #6 has got to be one of the Cenobites. Incidentally I did not know, until now, that "cenobite" is a real word. I wondered why Firefox didn't warn me it was misspelled, but according to M-W.com: "a member of a religious group living together in a monastic community." Which makes sense.

He's the Chatterer.

2 is return of the living dead

6 is a shot from ☿

Yep, #6 is the Chatterer from Hellraiser 2. That's a difficult one to even google. There's a number of those pesky Cenobites.

And Jared is right on #2, that's 'tarman' from 'Return of the Living Dead.' He's the patient zero for the zombie outbreak, and completely unkillable. RotLD is the movie where the whole Zombies eating Brains instead of flesh came from. I think Jared's the one to introduce me to that movie, actually.

Good going on most of them people. I WISH someone would take a guess on #5 though...

I think I've given everyone a fair shot...soooo I googled. #5- Wishmaster!! Took me 30 minutes before I finally came up with the right key words and only know as I make this comment did I see your awesome clue, Cory. Well Done.

w00t! Wishmaster goes to Muncher. Yeah, that was a hard one.

When children appears in horror movies anything can happen, you know a creepy laugh, a child making innocent but frightened noises around.
